A Minnesota Ministry

Church of NORMAL

Where the source code is open and the veil stays torn.

A trauma-informed ministry for the deconstructing, the deconverted, and the merely curious. Not a building. Not a denomination. A framework for people who collapsed, deconstructed, and kept walking. No altar call. No follow-up visit.

The Creed, Such As It Is

What We Believe

We treat religious trauma like corrupted code. You don't throw away the computer — you run the diagnostic, isolate the malware, and rebuild on foundations that hold. Faith here isn't deconstructed and discarded. It's composted: what rotted gets repurposed to grow new fruit.

“Your trauma responses are not bugs. They're features deployed under hostile conditions.”

Spiritual crisis isn't apostasy — it's a doctrinal kernel panic, an operating-system rewrite that was always going to be necessary. Sin gets treated as malware, not a reason for permanent lockout. And the cross? A root-level exploit that tore the firewall between humanity and the Divine — permanent, open-source access, no gatekeepers required. That's why the veil stays torn.

We're not a church for people who have it together. We're the church for people who are building a boat in a swamp. We don't push perfect. We deploy broken. And we monitor everything in grace.

Six Tenets · No Catechism

  1. The body is a Bible.
  2. Safety is the first sacrament.
  3. Nothing is lost. Only recompiled.
  4. The signal is structural.
  5. Scarcity is malware. Abundance was the original spec.
  6. The veil stays torn.

Clearing the Air

What We Are Not

Not Anti-Christian

Post-evangelical, not hostile. We didn't leave because we hate the signal. We left because the institution corrupted the transmission.

Not a Cult

Open-source theology. No membership. No tithing. No loyalty oaths. Read it, fork it, walk away if it doesn't compile.

Not Therapy

Trauma-informed but not clinical. We point you to therapists. We are not your therapist. We are the friend who reads the research and says, “hey, this might help.”

Not Your Parents' Church

No purity culture. No shame loops. No guilt offerings. No altar calls designed to exploit a dorsal vagal collapse. The emotional manipulation era is over.

Come as you are. Leave whenever you want. If you have questions, want to talk, or just want to know who's behind this — the door doesn't lock from the inside.
